… What are the last images to flicker before the eyes... of collective conflict into collective care to transmit into the eyes of others? What would inspire us to stay... here on earth, here in our neighborhoods, here in our bodies? How do we dream of others moving alongside us ... with us … with what is hidden and what is shown? How do we find ourselves again and again in constant movement, in constant relation, in the challenging and the sweet? Do we dream as a collective body?

Authentic Movement Workshop

본연의 움직임 워크샵

Authentic Movement is a simple but deep form, that allows self-exploration. With eyes closed, the mover listens inwardly and follows their movement impulses, while a witness(es) pays attention with open, meditative neutrality. The movements are spontaneous self-expression that can range from childlike to soulful. The overall group mood tends to be contemplative & mindful, while the movers are supported to explore intensity. Together, the movers and witnesses deepen their perceptions of self and other, both verbally & non-verbally, which evokes deep respect and empathy. The overall effect can be art-like, therapy-like, and/or ritual-ish.

No previous Contemplative Dance/Authentic Movement experience required.
Those with previous experience welcome.
